Karate Tournament

Daniel participated in a karate tournament this last Saturday.  He has been in karate for about a year now and this is his first tournament that he participated in.  I'm not sure he would have attended this tournament if it weren't for him being on the Demo Team. The Demo Team had a competing event and I think since he had to be there, he thought he might sign up for a few other events.  He participated and got the gold in the board breaking event.

First day of School

School began last week.  We began a new school.  One that is much closer to home.  The kids were excited to change schools.  They get an extra hour of sleep every morning because we don't have to drive very far.  Hooray....it's the first day of school!

 Taylor had to be part of the action!  She was a little sad that she didn't get to stay.
